Rather a silly title isn’t it: Life. Well, I have one and so do you so now does the title seem silly? After all, it is the only one we get to have so you have to wonder why so many make a shambles of theirs. Or, is it just me that wonders? I don’t see a lot of sense in our lives these days. Then again, I went looking for sense of life after Vietnam. I found it, have you?
Above I said that I didn’t make sense of life but I did find mine. I had to go off world to find it however. A trip fewer and fewer seem to want to take. In part, that is what this website is about: Off World. A place to go when this world makes no sense and off world does not include drugs or alcohol. Those are too easy and those get nothing resolved. The easy way out, is what this has been called for millennia. I tired of that easy way. It came very close to killing me and I found I wasn’t ready to kick the can, bucket, old horse, elephant, you name it.
That is what this is about and, speaking of about, it is about time that somebody gave those of us who find life insufferable a way to find surcease. Except, it was always there, we just disdained it while making fun of those who found balance in it. It is far too simple to be a college course. Far to overwhelming for many also. Yet, it is there exactly for you and I. It always has been. Can anything be that easy. No, it isn’t easy. It takes resolve and denial of popular for something much more than popular.
I know, what’s with the ciphers? I will let you know quite soon. In fact, I will quote from a few people from a long while ago. How’s that for old? I am old. The best part of being near eighty is having learned what’s what. This is why I have lived this long, as I see it. To learn! and a few other things.
